Ведущим элементом в таких известных препаратах, как «Доктор МОМ», «КУКА сироп», «Трависил» или «Суприма бронхо», является экстракт из адатоды сосудистой, или просто васаки.
На протяжении многих тысячелетий экстракт листьев васаки применяли при лечении бронхита, астмы, туберкулеза, кашля и одышки.
Активные ингредиенты:
Орех малабарский / Васака / Пахира (Pachira aquatica). С давних времен применялся на Востоке как сильное отхаркивающее и муколитическое средство. Снижает вязкость бронхиального секрета, нормализует функцию желез слизистой оболочки дыхательных путей, восстанавливает обычную структуру мокроты, что облегчает ее выделение. Плод содержит много йода, имеет противовоспалительные свойства.
Инструкция по применению: по 1 капсуле 2 раза в день.
Противопоказания: возраст до 14 лет, беременность. Препарат рекомендуется принимать по назначению и под контролем специалиста.

Vasaka(Malabar Nut Tree/Adhatoda zeylanica) is well known in Ayurveda for its beneficial effects in respiratory ailments, particularly as an expectorant in bronchitis. The leaves, flowers, fruits and roots are used extensively for treating cold, cough, whooping-cough, chronic bronchitis and asthma.
Vasaka grows throughout India, up to an altitude of 1,300 meters.
Active constituents:
Vasaka contains the pyrroquinazoline alkaloids, including vasicine, vasicol and vasinone along with other minor constituents. Vasicine and vasinone are the major bioactive constituents of Vasaka which have bronchodilatory and antitussive properties.
The alkaloids present in the plant show significant protection against allergen-induced bronchial obstruction.
